About Jim Heiser
Jim Heiser studied art and illustration at Pratt Institute and the Art Students League in New York City, and earned his B.A. at Duke University.
Following a brief stint as an illustrator, Jim earned a master’s degree in art history with a concentration in old master drawing techniques. After graduation he focused on figurative drawings and exhibiting his artwork in galleries and juried shows. Inspired by his summers spent in a small lakeside town, he began offering limited edition watercolor giclée prints over ten years ago. Jim's love of figure drawing is evident in his paintings and he is serious about continually improving his craft.
Today, Jim makes his home in Neenah, Wisconsin and Northport, Michigan with his wife and son. His work appears in private collections across the country.
