Smooth Sailing
In every little kid there is the internal conflict of wanting to do “what the big kids do” while at the same time enjoying the safety and ease that comes with being a little kid. In this painting two boys are captured contemplating this age old dilemma. The lure of the bigger faster boats is not nearly as strong from this vantage point. The boys seem to have a new appreciation for their slow, smooth sailing pram…at least for the moment.
